I layered some gated snares on top of a linn drum loop I put together and it’s nice but idk if it’s hitting the way I want it to. I have a few old 80s synths I’ve been playing with trying to find a bass line I like but either it’s coming off too funk sounding or I feel like it sounds like a cheap knock of Billie Jean/Like A Virgin, not that that’s a bad thing but eh.
